The 2011 scholarship amount per recipient will be $1,500.00.
The process of selecting scholarship recipients will be handled by 6 branchs of The Korea Daily respectively. The process may include advertising through The Korea Daily, selecting judges, examining applications, selecting students, and hosting events for the scholarship.
Candidates can apply for scholarship from May 5 to July 5, 2011 by sending complete material to each branch of The Korea Daily address on the contact directory on this website. Application must be submitted to The Korea Daily branch where the school is located. The judges will select the recipients and post the list of recipients on this page and also on The Korea Daily on August 1, 2011. The date for scholarship award ceremony is August 9, 2011. The place and the time of the event will be announced by each branch of The Korea Daily. Recipient must bring Student ID or other ID to verify yourself.
Download the application form, fill out completely and mail to the address above with all other materials. Please make sure to include all the materials on the check list. Applications will NOT be processed without complete materials.
